What is DTF printing?

DTF stands for direct to film. The design is printed with textile ink on a special film, given a layer of white ink and a hot-melt adhesive, and then heat-pressed onto the garment. The method needs no screens, which makes it worthwhile even for small runs and designs with many colours.

What is the difference between DTF and screen printing?

Screen printing needs one screen per colour and pays off for large runs with few colours. DTF is printed digitally without screens and suits small runs and designs with many colours.

How long does DTF print last?

A correctly pressed DTF print withstands many washes. Wash the garment inside out and follow the care instructions.
