General delivery specifications:
• Supply your files in a plano format.
• Supply your files in CMYK.
• Use a minimum resolution of 100dpi in your design.
• Do you use lines? These should not be thinner than 0.25 pt.
• Reversal lines must be at least 0.5 pt thick.
• Use at least an 8 pt font size.
• Make sure that your text in your design always converts to contours.
• Formatting with a white outline (‘stroke’) or filling (‘fill’) may never be overprinted (‘overprint’). White on overprint disappears in the final printed matter.
• Make sure that the color opacity in your design never exceeds 280% (the percentages of cyan, magenta, yellow and black added together).
• For deep black/rich black, use the following structure: C50%; M40%; Y40%; and K100%.
• Use deep black/rich black only for larger areas and text. Not for text less than 15 pt or plain text.
• We recommend preparing files for printing in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop and supplying the file as a print-ready PDF.
• Use the working drawing provided by us.
